我们的产品屡获殊荣有力地说明了奥托博克集团的产品质量在市场的领先地位。我们为雇员提供的教育计划就是其中的一个关键因素。


为了改进产品和服务,我们希望了解用户的需要和问题。奥托博克集团的质量管理体系帮助实现了这个目标。根据ISO 9001的严格要求,公司的所有流程都得到认真的分析和评估。这使得每个流程都是透明的,能够快速消除可能的干扰。


对雇员最重要的还有各类循序渐进的继续教育计划。该计划对公司的假肢矫形器技师特别有好处,使他们能够随时掌握最新的安装技术,并因此使我们产品的用户受益。毕竟生活品质才是检验奥托博克产品的标准。

A company is as good as its employees. For that reason Otto Bock has made an ongoing investment in the continuing education of its employees. Under the motto “Lifelong Learning”, we are creating qualification possibilities for all levels. Our internal “Otto Bock Academy” consolidates the resources for continuing
education for the entire company and organizes the required seminars. Focus points are working techniques, software applications, employee management and
foreign languages.

Need-oriented continuing education has a tradition at Otto Bock: As early as the 1920s, the company founder provided his employees with qualification seminars. Besides technical skills and knowledge, social competencies are increasingly called for today. Themes such as “conflict management” and “communication training” are thus a part of our regular course offerings.

Based on present demographic developments, a lack of skilled labor can be expected in the future. To ensure a staff of highly skilled employees, Otto Bock is therefore investing in personnel development. Important is a clearly defined and transparent company structure in which every employee knows his or her place and value. Only if the goals of the company are communicated correctly can employees contribute with focused involvement. The quality management of Otto Bock HealthCare assists with this goal.

According to the stringent requirements of DIN 9001, all processes in the company are carefully analyzed and evaluated. This makes every process transparent, allowing to quickly eliminate possible interferences. A further advantage: each employee knows his or her specific task and responsibility within the process as well as which colleagues and areas are dependent on the quality of his or her work. In that sense, Otto Bock employees do not become anonymous cogs in the machine, but important components of the company. That creates employee motivation and thus the basic conditions for client-oriented service and the highest quality products.

Mobility has many facets and can mean different things to different people: physical mobility, social independence, flexibility in planning one’s life. This also applies to people who are dependent on a wheelchair or another mobility device. Rightly so, they expect a mobility solution that offers practical, functional qualities that also accomodate their personal life style. For this reason, individualized configurations and sophisticated design
of the highest technical quality are always present in our products.

One example of the successful combination of a stylish looks with progressive technology is the active wheelchair Avantgarde Ti Ultra – a member of the
Avantgarde product family. In February 2006, the Ministry of Economics distinguished the Ti Ultra with the Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany. As the first wheelchair ever to have been nominated for this highly prestigious national award, the Ti Ultra received the Silver Design Award.
